A cat, a dog, a rabbit, a hamster, or a person — embroidered into organic cotton one stitch at a time, on a machine that carries six thread colours. It takes longer than printing and costs more, and it is the only version of this that a garment will still be wearing in ten years.

- There is no ink. The portrait is thread through the fabric, so it outlasts the garment rather than washing off it.
- Six colours, chosen deliberately
- The machine carries six threads, so a face is reduced to six flat tones. Bold markings survive; fine fur texture does not.

- Stitched 10 × 10 cm on the left chest. A badge rather than a chest-wide print — closer to a monogram than a graphic.
